Message	before you make a confirmed statement on them being a soft valve...did you inspect the valve springs to see if they were weak which would result in them tuliping the valves due to valve float. Check install height and open pressure at said lift and then measure overall valve height from a brand new spring to the used ones in that head. Check oil bind as well.
